With lemon.markets we are building the API for trading equities, enabling developers to code their own algorithms, bots or applications. For us, it is about being the backbone of a thriving ecosystem and community. Having a clear focus on providing a REST-API that enables you to create and execute orders at the stock market automatically. As well as to retrieve market data in real-time equipping you with all the tools for building your own automated strategy at the stock market. Currently, lemon.markets is in the open beta offering the first feature of our product, a test environment with paper trading, to get started without putting your money on risk. Behind the scenes we are working hard to bring our system live at the end of 2021. Until then, we need your feedback and participation for building the best and most joyful API out there. Feel free to reach out anytime and shoot us a message [email protected] or submit your feature request in our roadmap.
Creating orders at the stock market - with paper money for now, in Q3 2021 with real money
Retrieving historic market data until now (formats: M1, M5, M30, H1, D1, W1) via REST API,
Streaming real-time market data via Websocket
Creating and measuring each of your strategies independently (each strategy is a "subaccount" of your account)
We get the data from Lang & Schwarz, a company providing the electronic trading system and taking the market maker role at the Börse Hamburg (Hamburg Stock Exchange, Germany). Between 9 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. (standard trading hours) the data/ stock prices are close to XETRA as Lang & Schwarz prices/ quotes are referenced to XETRA. Only from 7.30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5.30 p.m. to 11 p.m. (outside standard trading hours), prices may vary and spreads are greater.
